Snow
The snow is falling so lightly on the ice cover pond.
Each flakes a different design as they make a puzzle blanket on the frozen pond.
The snow covers the foot prints of the children that once played in the yard.
Making snow angels that now disappear as the snow fall.
I listen to the wind as it whipped across my window.
The weather man on the old tv tells of a storm that will bring more snow into tomorrow.
As i look I see the birds trying to hide from the cold.
The snow begins to fall faster and a lot more to make it hard to see the pond.
A small deer stands next to a tree looking for a place to rest its tiny head.
As I think of the storm, I wonder how nice spring would be.
Only if it wasn't tomorrow.
