I want to look up ,
I want to be free ,
But it ain't easy ,

They all say they will be there,
As I crawl around in darkness,
And stay away from drunken despair..

lady in white satin and powder in her hair..
She claims that she loves me , but I don't care.

I look to the cross to stay away from despair
Oh Lord , help me
I know that You care.

Your hand has touched me
and Your grace has altered me.

I am sinner trying to be free,
but chains and addiction , they are a troubling me..

show me Your love and satisfy me.

I look to the Cross to save me from me
