And I am finally ready
to let you go
with a snap
of fingers
a toss of hair
like arcs of
autumn leaves
thrown
up into air
leafy shadows
of light
illuminating
my face
as I remove you
from my
personal
space
Once you were
my sunset glow
brilliant colors
juicing my flow
now I release them
back to the source
how nature helps
this
liberation force
