How low can conversation get..//
To the point where you forget who said//
I'd rather have a real goodbye versus a fake hello//
A real hatred versus a fake love//

I had to say goodbye cause she didn't say hello//
When I said goodbye, you were much obliged//
When I still gave a hand to hold, you waved by//
I'll never forget the day we disconnected//
Our song unfinished, but is creativity ever?//

I had to say goodbye cause she couldn't say hello..//
My then to say goodbye, and I still said hello//
But for you, it's the same story, different hell//
Same defensive mechanism, different shell//
Same concrete rose, different smell//
Same dream, different dwell//

I had to say goodbye cause she never said hello..
I had to say goodbye cause she never said hello..
