Untitled
A bird flies overhead
holding a long steady flight
gracious flapping wings and not a place to be
more freedom than can be imagined
dives and turns through the air
patterns through the sky
it's brilliant colors map out the landscape
more beauty than can be imagined
it soars high through the air
stealthily ducking, hiding, and gliding
not a sound can be heard
more silent than can be imagined
not a fear in sight
nor a stress or a worry
just a simple bird life of flying or soaring
it is at peace, a peace that can only be imagined
