Nov 2011
a whisper in the darkness
a caress from the gloom
a chill runs up the spine that
separates us from the womb
a heartbeat in my ribcage
a shiver in my lungs
a word that breaks the silence
of a hundred different tongues
a kiss upon your fingertips
a smile upon your lips
a tickle from the hand that
starts entwining round your hips
the gazes of a multitude
the blessing of the stars
the skin that tells the story of
these long-forgotten scars
