we were blistering alongside streetlights in someone's
c,  a,     r , the blackened sky woven
together with a net of stars, I guess but I
didn't see,
He

gazed back at me from the front-
seat, his eyes spiking the air with
ecstasy — I
indulged,
lacing my body with
fluctuations from the all-consuming bass and the blackness with its
w         b
e

killing me
but it was lovely.
