I Steal My Fate
I jump from this crowd
Slipping through the guards
Snatching your precious crown
The jewels to which they bowed
But you're no king
Not the kind that's revered
Your crown was built from spite
For those you kept on a string
I am no better than you
Stealing hearts to break
A fool filled with self-pity
Always doubting what to do
I don't steal what's not mine
Merely claim my title-to-be
The king of misguiding & self-loss
Just waiting for the end of the line
