I still see you in my dreams,
When you and I, played by the streams,
When our lives were a fairytale,
Before everything became stale.

You never tried working on us,
Instead you left, took the nearest bus,
I try to follow the little tracks,
But nothing can fill my open cracks.

Our memories play like a tape,
Over and over, like nothing's changed,
I jump around like a little ape,
Only to realise, the memories have aged.

I still see you in my dreams,
But now, I wake up with a thousand screams,
I'd like to say we both have sinned,
But you can't fix whats gone with the wind.
