Each Monday we wake up with that groggy, annoyed feeling,
“UGH IS IT ALREADY MONDAY?!”
Time to take a shower and scrub the sins of the weekend off,
Time to grab an overpriced coffee at the cute, but somewhat annoying coffee shop,
Time to settle in at my desk chair and contemplate the many emails I ignored,
“Is it a good time to send that girl a text from the weekend?”
“Is it a good time to say sorry to my friend for ******* in his armchair?”
No not yet, wait till Tuesday for that one
order a piece of pizza and think that’ll solve some things,
Low and behold, still hungry!
It’s 3 pm and still have 2 more hours to go,
“how am I going to get through this day?”
All of a sudden, hear some light music in the office next door,
ears perk up,
2-day hangover subsides,
stomach suddenly feels more full,
craving for a cigarette goes away,
look at yourself in the mirror,
Suddenly that Monday face looks like a Wednesday face,
Oh Monday music, you are a savior
