She wore a white wedding gown, but any fool could plainly see
The groom about to make her a wife, should have been me
What turned us away from each other, I can't seem to recall, but I missed
Out on marrying the girl of my youth, and the pain to this day
Hurts worst of all, so if you have someone special, and want to get down
On bended knee, listen to this old boy's plea, be sure with all of your
Might that you really love her, with all of your heart and soul
Look what happened to me
