Thunderstorm
A crackle, here and there
Lightning strikes in the sky beam a fanfare
A glorious concordance of a storm
A concert to perform
Loud drums pound and wind whistle sound
Lightning hits the ground
Thunder and wind
Keep me disciplined
The suddenness of a thundering roar
Keeps me on my toes waiting for the downpour
Punishing thunder yet waiting for the rain
So calming, I cannot explain
The storm is coy and I want to hear more
I am waiting for its loudest galore
Storm, lay out my burdens for me
So that I can go on with glee
Youβre excitement keeps me going
The rain starts flowing
I begin to feel fine
No burdens to confine
This is a poem I wrote back in 2010
