Poems

Wandering eyes
we ended years ago
you always came back as I was about to leave
held me
till my pieces felt almost whole
kissed me
with a mouth that dripped lies
told me you'd been foolish
that you had forgotten
how I was the one
Then vanish
no reason at all
just checking
to see if the hook was still in
it worked then
but not now
I've grown wise
and I've opened my eyes
I see how you move from guy to guy
how your eyes wander
but always check on me
if mine start to wander
here you come crying of your blunder
