This world that I live in, was once an atom
And then it split and suddenly it grew
Funny how, throughout this big world
I somehow find myself next to you
There were dinosaurs who ruled the land
Funny little creatures hidden in sand
Maybe if we lived in a time like that
Maybe if we died in a state like that

Throw yourself into a volcano, watch it erupt
Mount Vesuvius, and everybody is burned
This what it feels like when I'm not with you
That's what it feels like when I'm in love with you

Take my hand and run away with me now
Hold me and then maybe you'll stay with me now
Just a moment before you let it all fall down
Then you'll get to see what you wanted to see
(You get to be who you wanted to be)

There are too many things in this world
Too many topics to talk about
With you, and my heart's stopped
The moment I see you standing
And then I see him coming in...

What happened to our love-story?
You said it would've made history
Maybe it was just a thing to say to guys like me
And now I'm sick to my stomach
So I STAY at home on Saturday afternoons
With my friends, it's so boring

So bare with me while I'm speaking
Tried to shove you a rose, but your guy said no
Always on the background, that's where he should stay now
But you never said anything that made him proud

There are too many things in this world
Too many topics to talk about
With you, and my heart's stopped
The moment I see you standing
And then I see him coming in...

So you're on your own now
Living in the wilderness
He's drunk and his hopeless
There's nothing you can do now

So help me out and come right here
I've been waiting for you
So its late now, its almost gone now
Where is he now?

There are too many things in this world
Too many topics to talk about
With you, and my heart's stopped
The moment I see you standing
And then I see him coming in...

And you're going out
And he's angry now
He's vein might pop
His hairs oily
You're not there
To be his toy
Say, say his goodbye
Say, say you're alright
