A year and three months ago
Came the blade that cut
The link of two hearts,
And the link of two souls

We found our way back
We fought our way back
To each other
And rejoiced in our reuniting

But today marks our second parting
The parting that would hurt twice or thrice
Since the link of our hearts came severed
But the link of our souls didn't

And we would remain conscious of each other,
Talking to each other
And we would remember
Everything that we once had.
