Hallucinating my thoughts,
It was like Deja Vu,
When I felt your hand slip around my shoulder,
Closing the distance between us,
Your hand that now entwines my fingers,
Is doodling and fidgeting with my hand,
Your eyes that look at the moon,
Now shine bright on me,
You lay one hand over me,
The hair on my back,
Stand as goosebumps retreat,
What is it about that touch?
That takes the life out of me.
