Sep 2015
oh amethyst jungle of beautiful night
where these million cuticles waltz in kind
and strike, hammer, and type
the maleficent furry animals dine
and our species cries in size
hollowed by the weeping and dandelion wine

where cupid's clutches rally in triple-time
twilight's symphony combines timpani entwined
with the lux cacophony of midnight's sighs
and the vibrations of these electrical lights

unveils each mind with universal life
