Lady Summer, how you sing,
You tell your sister, Lady Spring,
It is your time to sing,
Your colors so beautiful,
Your temperatures so warm,
People look forward to you,
because you are

Some times you can be too hot,
Some times you can be just right,
Some times you bring on summer storms,
that cool the summer nights,

The summer storms that you bring,
turn summer grass into summer green,
and you make the flowers sing,
The flowers sing out that you are
here, but you are here only
three months out of a year.
