Breathe
Just breathe.
I know she takes your breath away,
I know your admiration
Lies in her presence.
But why her?
Why not me?
And you know that shatters me,
Me and my heart until,
Very slowly,
Nothing becomes of me.
So next time,
Next time you forget
To overwhelm those lungs of yours,
Please let it be for me.
Let me subdue your thoughts,
Vanquish your love for her,
Be inevitable,
And even breathe for you.
