I Walk With You

You head for the sun

head for the light

I linger behind

in the shadows of night

Your fearless and brave

I'm a lost , lonely slave

You say life is everything you strive to make it

I say if life throws you a life line ,than you better take it

You are my life line, my saving grace

I know me saying that puts a smile on your face

For you admitting your not always strong

is as simple as singing along with a song

For me admitting I am wrong, and stubborn too

makes me feel lonely, bitter, and blue

So I walk with you now into the light

following the sun , beaming so bright

Leaving behind the cover of night

Holding your hand , and holding it tight
