The Sound of her heels as she passes buy, marching to time,  but one heel drags just enough to change the tone.
So no matter what shoes she wears, I always know it's Poly walking past my office. Small steps at high speed like a mad ant rushing to sugar. It's a distraction. How does my mind know her footfall over others? Perplexing.
