A Shell
Can You believe,
A Shell is all I see?
I Feel it here,
Laying on the beach...
My life beside me,
In the guise of a shell,
It too, fails to breathe,
It is so near,
And so far.
It is who I am,
And so unlike who I are.
I see shells,
But sometimes I wonder,
What do they see?
Can it hear?
Can it speak?
Can it feel?
Can it hurt?
If so, then maybe I am the shell,
Just a fake, in this big whole sea.
