A Silence You'd Never Know

I was caught in the brief hypnotic gaze

of the most beautiful women of my dreams

as the mid-winter sun bursts broke the shadows

and danced eligantly through her Auburn hair.

Her smile held the true story of my love

as it reached it's peek at either ear

and forgave me for my prideful glory.

In that one & only moment I was captured.

Her light brown eyes absorbed my entire soul

as the softness of her voice echoed in my ears

I could only remain still, entranced, & breathless

lost in the beauty of a silence you'd never know.
