Jul 2015
counting sheep, to get to sleep,
racing the sunrise

Mr. Sandman, if you can,
sprinkle sand into my eyes

jeepers creepers, open peepers,
wide as deep blue skies

toss and turn, comfort concern,
no dreams or no lies

R.E.M. I wonder when,
even in dark's disguise

insomniac, heart attack,
sleeping would be wise

a wink, a nod, a sigh, a yawn,
still can't close my eyes
