I tried and was
attacked.

I shared and was
ridiculed.

I presented evidence
that they all
refused to see.

In the end I took
care of only
my own.

I contributed to the
illusion
by remaining silent.

I lived out my days
shielding my thoughts
from them  all.

Spent my remaining
years away from the fray
where the wild dogs
still grin at the sight
of the moon.
