For My Sister
You'll never hear me say it
And you couldn't get me to admit it
I try not to let myself think it
I miss you
I miss your advice and your bright smile
And every once in awhile, I allow myself to cry for you
Even though I know it won't bring you back
I miss you
So maybe someday you'll come back home
And I'll show you this poem
But, then again, maybe I'll just keep it a secret
And continue to miss you
