It was a dark and stormy night
Oceans of tears I didn't want you to taste
My face wet with confusion and fright
Waking you from your slumber in haste
I kept thinking that his ship was sailing
While I'm here simply sinking
As the life I built drifted away
Was I letting myself drown
Was I letting you down?
But the truth is that my saving grace
Is your loving touch and your beautiful face
We just need to be alone
Someplace safe where we can be at home
You've set us upon a course
That leaves little room for remorse
I just need to float away with you
A little boat to spend the days with you
To seek the bliss we are sure to find
Once I can rest my troubled mind
"It's You, It's You,
It's all for you,
Everything I do..."
