She’s going out dancing,
she’s feelin’ real fine,
she’s having a good time,
and she’s dressed to the nines—
lives, that is,
as she hasn’t lost one yet.

She has no worries,
no troubles or cares,
aside from the dude
who keeps calling her Pet
and the tuna in her hairs.

Today is the day,
she chuckles to me.
Today is the day
that she gets to be free.

Free to be fancy,
free to have feasts,
free to laugh at
the dogs on the leash.
Today is my cat's birthday, so I wrote a silly poem.
Yes, you may call me a catlady. :P
