Childhood
Personally I think the photo
That really captures ‘me’
Is the one of a little blonde child
Perhaps two or maybe three
Donning a muddy navy blue dress
And little scuffed up Mary Janes
With the widest most manic grin
Little fingers clenched tightly into fists
As if to say to me
“Let’s tear this **** up!”
