You had a way of captivating me
Like an artist is struck by something beautiful
You made me feel inspired,
Like there were possibilities
Beyond this emptiness.

You were the axis my world spun on.
The pulse in my wrist
My Mona Lisa,
If I could id hang you in a gallery
With all of the other great works of man,
But I'm selfish,
And I want you all to myself.
