If you keep your face turned to the sun
Deal with some blisters, but you’re number one
Look up at the sky and see how it’s blue
That feeling of calm has you born anew
In a tornado you have deadly strong winds
God is like that: destroying our sins
After a storm the air smells so pure
If only to bottle one and find cancer’s cure
Rain makes the plants and flowers grow
And in the spring it’s an awe-full show
Then there is snow to cover the ground white
Get a chill in the air everything’s alright
On a cloudy day it’s dull and gray
Dampens the spirit and sends happy away
When the sand picks up in desert dunes
Feel like flying in the air like helium balloons
When the fog lifts up, a veil is gone
After the sunset you know there must be dawn
When a mist covers the sleepy city streets
Like lying in bed under soft cool sheets
When polluted air enters your lungs
It’s like climbing a ladder with unstable rungs
Sometimes you have a pipe that will leak
But any way out the evil will seek
Never let your guard down; always be prepared
A problem had is a problem shared
