The love we had is lost to only be replaced by pain,
Never again will my life be the same.
I’ve lost my confidence, I no longer trust myself,
Nor could I care less about my health.
Never have I felt a pain this bad,
This pain is by far the worst I’ve ever had.
I have lost the right to tell her how much I love her,
And no longer can I comfort or hold her
In my arms like I use to.
I lost her because, to me, she was untrue.
I lost the feel of her soft lips against mine,
Her soft, luscious lips so fine.
I lost the right to hold her hand,
Her soft, warm hand.
I’ve lost the ability to say we’re together,
And I’ve lost the belief that we’ll be together forever.
