Why
When I stop to think,
And wonder why,
In the time it takes for me to blink,
So many people in this world die.
There are a great many things I cannot fathom,
Like why we choose to ****
When death itself is a shadowy phantom
That scares children and causes bones to chill.
All I want now is to show my love,
To those who care,
And are friendly as a dove.
But show my love I do not dare.
Hurt a lot of people, I know I have
But how sorry I am, I canβt express
Because I now understand how I have
Caused all those people so much distress.
So next time you stop to think,
And wonder why
So many people die, every time you blink,
Donβt be shy
To tell others what you think.
