Mother once told me that life plays a game
Sick and cruel joke that puts you to shame
If they would ask, tell them love is the name
Of the game which everyone gets to play.
Cupid's arrow, only one at its aim
Don't let it hit you, it will cause you pain
Don't fall or you're the one to blame
Because its your choice if you want to play
Darling, don't fall if you feel like it came
To the point where only one is in pain
But I know deep inside there comes a day
When silly little cupid gets his way
When time comes, smile and all will be okay
Rise up my princess and win Cupid's game.
