Then I saw you.
Amidst the sea of faces,
Drowned further by the noise.
You were there, trying to smile.
We mirror each other.
Pretended to look around but only looking for our eyes.
I smiled.
You did, too.
It's sad 'cause it won't happen.
I'm sad we didn't make it happen.
