You can think 'til Kingdom comes
Or we're all fried inside the sun
You can take that time to think,
You'll never find the missing link.

If you take some time alone,
When you're the only one at home,
the time to sit alone and think,
and push your logic to the brink,
You'll never find the missing link.

Tie yourself in chains,
of cause and effect,
of what you've been told,
and what to expect.

Tie yourself in chains
and link by link,
clink clink think think
Where's the link?
Stitching your hopes and pains
You  sink.
