May 2015
Let off the debt from yesterday
when you and I were (loves) virgins
lily white and yearning
dewy-eyed and callow
naive to the frailty of
We the tender footed
heart bruised and marked
breakneck blows from a fast hand
double-quick, posthaste
Remedy the wound
let growth be the antidote
satiate the womb
with golden spirit
