Happy Ending

Once upon a time There was a little island And it wasn't a person Because this has a happy ending There wasn't a tsunami And we weren't all drowned The sun dried the land - But not too much, there was still rain Once upon a time Which goes on forever We are still young And the world holds a promise: of joy, of splendour Our hearts weren't torn Our souls weren't broken We hold hands with acceptance Because somewhere there must be a happy ending
