May 2015
As I stood on the edge
And looked on
I saw a black sky,
Darker than any I saw ere
White, foamy waves
Clashed against the black rocks
Akin to two armies clashing
Thunder shook the sky
A swift wind blew
Seagulls flew for home
And sat on their small ledges
The sea was choppy and dark
And hid secrets known to none
