His anger displayed on my body
Nobody knows it though
“I fell”
“I ran into something”
“I don’t know how that happened”
So many lies
Hurting those close to me
I can see the pain in their eyes
All they want is to help
I can’t tell them
They can’t know what I’ve gone through
They can’t know what keeps me up at night
The days full of wonder
Of “why’s”
Of “what did I do’s”
I hide my pain from everyone
I can’t risk them knowing
I’ve already caused too much pain
I can’t handle this on my own
