the man behind the curtain

Busses be damned and the masses that follow If I were able, I'd lie there tomorrow He says one thing and does another Yet I've never known a better lover Silent and calm and asking for nothing Not love, not safety, not harbor, just something. If only... to again enjoy that briefest moment of silent contentment when I saw past the charade and into a soul possessing the capacity to be kind and true and vulnerable.
