I couldn't understand
the flood of evil
upon my body Saturday night.
I walked down Bourbon Street,
and I feared for all of their lives.
I felt helpless
I felt restless
I felt listless
and lost.
But I know that wasn't
from the same Man
who layed down His
life for us all, on the
cross. But I learned
today you cannot burn
what has already been caught,
with flame and fire so bright
the whole world might be taught.
Like Peter that night 3, 000 souls were saved.
I give my life to the Lord, and pray He
keeps me burning all my days.
