Running into illumination

Casts midnight upon the sacred ground

Yet running into the midnight place

Sit their vigil, the shadows cannot

β€œRoblet!” She screams

End the vampirarchy of reality

So that sense be made of the shadow reign

And at our desperation of sanity only

Let running into illumination

Cast no midnight on the floor

And running into that midnight place

Cause shadows to sit their vigil there
NOTE:
I have recently wondered about any metaphoric or deeper meaning behind the simple fact that shadows cannot be cast in the dark. (other than the obvious, of course)

Also, I used two words that have been dropped from the English language.
Roblet
v. to lead a stray
Vampirarchy
n. a group or leaders or leadership with qualities of a vampire

For more interesting words dropped from our language, visit savethewords.org. Let me tell you, it's great for poetic inspiration!
