Oh, you are my savior
the one who keeps me alive
for your love is the only thing
that keeps this cruel and selfish world
form devouring my soul.
Oh, you are my only wellspring of life
an angel sent down from heaven.
Your gentle word and smallest care
is life to me.
Oh, how those word mean so much to me
"I love you."
Far more than the finest silver and gold.
Oh, if I have not the hope of your love
then my life is no more
as though the doors of life have all closed
and I face eternal winter in my soul.
Oh, my lovely angel
shine down on me
with your heart and precious smile.
For your love and smallest care
does bring my soul to life
and let me live as a song
in your heart forever
as you live in mine.
