long for smelling roses
or the wiggling light of
saturday afternoons
when their lover came
early a bit unexpectedly
fantastically finding them
nothing doing and took
their body in softly hands
shaking perfectly the morsels
of their flesh on top of the
kitchen counter gruffly
gentle
             ?
