Jul 2011
a thousand voices speak
& a thousand more scream

my mind echoes thoughts like in distant caverns
you've read about secretly in the far corner of
abandoned rooms still stained w/ remnants
of webs invading

windows where you can still see the cracks
(they spread like fragile veins)

pieces of sunlight still pierce through
& suddenly, there's a rainbow on your floor

I silenced two thousand voices today
