I came to share my broken heart,
With those who have to love me so,
My family, friends, and those I meet,
Gathered round to sit and watch me cry.

They sat with faces so bored and stern,
As I stood helpless and nervously by,
The questions came so fast, so frenzied,
I only wanted to curl up and die.

Why did I bring my problems to them?
Why did I want the whole world to know?
This moment in time when my love left,
Should have been a secret burden for me.

No others can look deep into your soul,
To merit out the good and also the bad,
Some things we have should silent be,
With hopes that time would erase the pain.

I came to let the entire universe know,
My love had found someone so new,
So all would come to my door and say,
We wish you well, you broken fool.
