Lonelier than wind at night
Sitting there, in the light
A man looks down
His face a frown
Sighing because he's
Lonelier than wind at night

Long ago he felt the love
Those feelings out of his mind he shoves
Doesn't want to feel the pain
Doesn't want it . . . not again
Memories float 'cross his mind
Lonelier than wind at night

I see him there, full of grief
To see this torture is beyond belief
I want to save
He wants to stave
Wants just to be left alone
Lonelier than wind at night

He walks down the street
Not wishing with anyone to meet
He ducks his head
He'll soon be dead
Pulls the trigger,
Click,
For he has become
Lonelier than wind at night.
Experimenting with writing different ways!
