Scattered Hope
How?
How can one person be so perfect?
So lost,
yet so found?
I hope he knows she's perfect.
I hope he knows she's worth it.
I hope he sees her talent,
I hope he sees her creativity,
her proclivity
to take all the pain
and make something beautifully humane
A work of art on par
with someone who I will only ever know from afar
I hope he sees this star
and helps her shine brighter
But above all
I hope he fails,
I hope she bails
I hope she stumbles,
and fumbles,
and her world crumbles
if only to see,
what the pain will come out to be.
