Tilt your strings lightly
Burn the candles out of the way
Twist the cables, light up the fluorescence
Close the curtains, pull away the sheets

Try the essence, aim for the skies
Dissect the absence and tear apart the lies
Grip the tightness and the fear of all things between
Hold the silence, the beyond and unseen

Frayed at the seams at the dirge of time
Sliding to the winds and creasing at the sighs
Opening to the ocean while the echoes of light
Bury the effervescent chides of numbered sights

Chalk up words, try the triremes
Gauge the haphazard

Loosen the covers
Army of evanescence
Gyrating in the day

Pull on the notes, try them
Jake in everlasting, hunt
Price on the run, freedom in disguise
Take my urban pain
and torment my supplies.
